BaileLDN host a Brazilian Baile Funk club night at a variety of venues around London, hosting a sort of re-launch party on 12th December of 2025. This was nmy very first event shooting with the Canon 90D - and incredible upgrade from my older 600D. Doubling my resolution, upgrading the low-light ISO performace, and incredibly fast focusing speed I was able to capture more incredible moments than ever before.
An incredible lineup (Emily Dust, Mango PArk, and Bia Marques), house party vibes, free entry, and a not-so-secret location (Bread and Butter Lounge, Shoreditch) the hype was on, and the stakes set high.
Shooting with and without flash and with a combination of the 50MM F1.8 and 28-80 F3.5-5.5 I came away from this event with over 3,000 photos to edit - culled, editted, and delivered in 3 days.
The 90D has a 10FPS continuous shutter mode which I used to produce some GIFs of the event as well - a new technique and one I've continued to develop since.
The pictures turned out incredible and I was even able to share some sneak previews the very same evening. My largest gallery to date.
